Lol, get to know our city better! It’s on the corner of Latrobe st and Williams st. Or if it’s a cold day you should take her to this brilliant chocolate place, it’s hidden down a narrow corridor and down a small staircase in the Royal Arcade (on Bourke st) They make all sorts of hot chocolate and other beverages, using real chocolate from around the world, then you could buy her some of their chocolate, they sell it there aswell as use it in there stuff. It’s much better than Max Brenner. The semi-old guy that owns the place is really passionate about what he does and you can see the love he puts into it. Can guarantee she would love that too! And well yes of course I am observant lol, if I don’t pay attention to detail I I would fail architecture school. Details are important in all thing though, not just architecture.
Take her for a picnic at Flagstaff Gardens (I am currently designing a building for my final Urban Architecture project and that is the site I have to situate it in so I have studied and observed the area for days to see how it’s used, where the sun shines, significant points of interest or importance etc), it’s a really beautiful place to be at around 2pm, The sun will be in an optimal position above the highest ground and it shines down through the tree canopies onto the leaves and beautiful green grass below, and although it’s in the middle of the city, a lot of the urban sounds become almost non existent and it’s really relaxing. It would be a great place to take a girl I can can guarantee it!
